About Arie van Bennekum
Arie has been a pragmatic who embeds his pragmatism in structure and common sense during his complete 30 year working career. This eventually led him to being an agile expert and one of the authors of the Agile Manifesto. He implements Agile thinking, Agile Project Management, Agile techniques, etc. since 20 years and iterates with his clients in both small and big projects towards a true successful Return on Investment.
Agile Project Management and end user involvement have his focus when he speaks, presents, demonstrates and lectures about Agile as a consultant, as chair of the Agile Consortium International and as a lecturer at the Rotterdam University for Applied Sciences where he lectures since 1994. He is connected to the Rotterdam University not only on Agile in general but also specific on project management, user involvement, facilitation, and as a graduation and project coach.
